NeuLash Active Eyelash Technology Review

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Like a lot of women, I’ve been trying to find the right eyelash enhancing product that will improve the health of my sparse and brittle eyelashes. For a long time, I have searched for the magic potion that would give me the eyelashes I desire. I have tried a lot but so far, most have failed me. I have discovered a few which improved my eyelashes’ condition; one of these is Neulash. However, there were some drawbacks to it which I deemed serious enough to discontinue using it.

Neulash’s official website provides a complete listing of the ingredients used in the product. Among these ingredients are polypeptides with fatty and amino acids that strengthen and enhances eyelashes by improving its over-all health. Sodium Hyaluronate and Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans synergistically work to moisturize, thus making eyelashes more resistant to breakage. Pumpkin seeds, Biotin and Panthenol provide beneficial proteins. What I failed to realize was that it also included isopropyl cloprostenate, a Prostaglandin analogue that makes the formulation’s safety questionable. Though Neulash has said that it is safe and even suggested it enhanced its effect, I still experienced side effects which, in my opinion, undermined the beneficial effects of Neulash.

In fairness to the product, I did see an improvement in the overall health and appearance of my eyelashes. Along with this, though, I also experienced a few side effects. It prompted me to dig deeper as to the pros and cons of the product and what follows are what I have found out.

Advantages of Neulash:

  • Applying Neulash just once a day provides positive results within a month of regular use.
  • The Neulash official website gives a thorough listing of the ingredients included in the product.
  • Neulash defends the inclusion of the Prostaglandin analogue as completely safe with the addition of polypeptide-23.

 Disadvantages of Neulash:

  • The possibility of side effects, including redness and irritation, which I had experienced, albeit minimally. The threat of more serious side effects associated with Prostaglandin such as vision related problems and permanent changes to the color of the eyes.
  • It is rather expensive with users having to shell out $150 for a three month supply.
  • Availability of eyelash enhancing serums at a cheaper cost and with a safer formulation.

Evaluation

Although this is quite a popular product, I still wouldn’t recommend it for consumers. Yes, it may show off some good results for what it’s marketing with, but that’s just the outer cover that you’re seeing because if you look into the hidden side of it, you’ll see that there are definitely negative side effects that are and can be brought by this product and they’re not even letting consumers know about this just to protect their sales!
